Our truck went up in flames; In need of help

Friends, Family, Supporters and Fellow Intercessors,

A few days ago my 1996 Dodge Ram Pickup went up in flames (cause unknown at this point). Thank the Lord neither I or Reagan were in the vehicle when it happened. I had just parked it and went inside and 15 minutes later it was fully aflame.

Praise God we have full coverage and are waiting and praying as the insurance company does it's thing. In the interim, Reagan and I only have one car and work at two different locations a few days a week. Currently Reagan is still working full-time as Operations Manager for the Forerunner Media Group. She heads up this entire department, which is responsible for producing many cds that we all enjoy, including the Limited Editions (ihop prayer room-greatest hits). With this job she is still serving the mission base by only receiving a minimal salary, as do all operations staff and all full-time staff members. I am currently working 30-35 hrs a week driving an airport shuttle and am staying as involved as possible with the prayer room, but mainly I am focusing in the season on paying off debts and working on our marriage.

So we are choosing to give up higher paying jobs and incomes by being a part of the IHOP Mission Base (and gladly at that). We are also trying to be faithful stewards with our money while at the same time continuing to live by faith. We believe that prayer and fasting are essential and that all the rest of life should be built around communing with God in this way. We believe prayer and fasting help keep us close to Jesus and that is the most important relationship to maintain in all our lives.

While we are waiting for the insurance settlement we are in need of a car in the interim. Most likely for a few weeks (is my best guess). Also I am hoping and praying to take a trip to Nebraska tomorrow actually to see my 9 year old nephew's last baseball game (he is my best buddy in the whole world after Jesus and my wife).

So, we ask for your prayer support for our needs to be met and, where God moves on your heart, financial support. Our other car is a great running 1994 Honda Accord, which is getting up there and has been having a few things go wrong here and there. So we are praying for an upgrade in vehicles at this time, at least for a 2000 or newer replacement of our Dodge Ram.

Third, prayerfully help us purchase a second, replacement vehicle.

Another interesting tidbit:

FEMA deemed the training (for New Madrid "Big One") so important that it gave higher priority to only one other catastrophe it feared could occur. That exercise was held last year.
It involved a major hurricane hitting New Orleans.

Sunday, April 27, 2008 - Vision

As I was approaching the Daphne Civic Center for Sunday morning service at Church, I had a vision which lasted for about two or three seconds. In this vision, I saw the ground buckling before me. It was so real that I actually moved aside to avoid what I was seeing. I knew immediately that it was an earthquake, and the thought crossed my mind that the damages of this earthquake could have the potential to exceed those of Hurricane Katrina of 2005.

WIND and WATER

May 20, 2008

I awoke trembling at 5:00 in the morning after having a startling dream. This was one of the three most profound dreams that I have ever had during the ministry the LORD has called me to. I feel that this dream is an addendum to the vision I had on April 27, 2008.

I saw the words wind and water. I only saw the words but did not actually see any wind or water damage. I then found myself overlooking a river which instantly became so wide that I could no longer see either of its banks. The dream then shifted, and I was with one of my parishioners running through what appeared to be an old abandoned school house. This empty building began to shake. The shaking was so violent and severe that it was like the bucking of a wild horse tossing us around. My teeth were clapping so hard from the impact that I tried to clinch them to prevent this from happening.

In this dream I knew I was experiencing a massive earthquake. The sounds were so catastrophic that the thought crossed my mind that the devastation could likely exceed Hurricane Katrina of 2005. I did not see the devastation behind me, I only heard it. In all of my life I have never heard such catastrophic sounds. These were the scariest sounds I have ever heard. The dream then shifted once more and concluded with two names on what appeared to be an old Spanish map. One name read Indianola and the other Europa.

I researched the internet and contacted some close friends in the ministry and reliable intercessors concerning this dream. What we found was startling. There are towns called Indianola, IL, Europa, MO, and Indianola, MS. These towns run in a line from North to South with Europa, MO being near the middle of them. The Mississippi River runs between them with Europa, MO being by the epicenter of the New Madrid fault. After seeing this, I believe the dream could be concerning a devastating earthquake on the New Madrid fault.

God gave me this as warning to prepare us for the days ahead and to pray concerning this matter. I did not see any time frame as to when this may happen.

In addition to the Christian version, Warren has an expanded inclusive version of the P.E.A.C.E. plan that has drawn support and praise from political and religious leaders and celebrities worldwide.

At the 2008 World Economic Forum, he declared, "The future of the world is not secularism, but religious pluralism...." Referring to the ills besetting the world, he declared, "We cannot solve these problems without involving people of faith and their religious institutions. It isn't going to happen any other way. To accommodate working with people of all faiths Warren has revised the "P" in his P.E.A.C.E. from "planting evangelical churches" to "(P)romoting reconciliation" and the
"E" from "equipping [church] leaders" to "(E)quipping ethical leaders."

Warren has elsewhere acknowledged his practical shift to pluralism: "Who's the man of peace in any village--or it might be a woman of peace--who has the most respect?...They don't have to be Christian. In fact, they could be Muslim, but they're open and they're influential, and you work with them to attack the five giants [to which he has added global warming]." He quotes a secular leader who affirms what he's doing: "I get it, Rick. Houses of worship are the distribution centers for all we need to do."

Warren has joined the advisory board of Faith Foundation, established by former British prime minister and recent Roman Catholic convert Tony Blair. The Foundation's goal is to further understanding and cooperation among the six leading faiths: Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Sikh, and Jewish. How does the Cross fit into this ecumenical gathering? It doesn't. Critical to achieving that ecumenical goal is the elimination of the problem of exclusive religions, a concern articulated by one of the World Economic Forum panelists: "There are some religious leaders in different religious faiths who, in seeking to affirm their own faith and its authenticity and legitimacy...deny other people their faith with its legitimacy and authenticity. I don't think we can keep going like this without...spawning the kind of hatred we are all here to try and solve. I think it's up to us to hold the clergy's feet to the fire of whatever faith. That we insist that we affirm what is beautiful in our own traditions while at the same time refusing to denigrate other faith traditions by suggesting that they are illegitimate, or consigned to some kind of evil end."

Baby Moshe escapes the bloodbath

"During the initial attack, the Chabad center's cook, Sandra Samuel, managed to escape with the Holtzberg's 1-year-old son, Moshe."

The rabbi's name was Noach, which is Noah in Hebrew and it means rest, comfort.

But I thought it was noteworthy that a baby named, Moshe, escaped.

Moshe, is the Hebrew word for Moses.

Maybe God is showing us what time it is, all the time, if our hears our open. Is he protecting the deliverers on a global scale, and then in the coming years they will go to the pharoh's of the earth and speak the word of the Lord?

Just a thought.

Judgment is near

While sitting outside on the front steps of the house we were staying at in San Diego I opened my Bible to the 7th Chapter of Ezekiel. I asked the Lord what He was saying and I kind of knew in my gut, but in my American optimism and a glimmer of hope that God would give us more time (mercy). I didn't want to believe this was from him. The people have spoken and God always talks back.

Our training as intercessors will go to the next level under this new day. The day America chose darkness over light (it's not about the person elected as much as the conscience of America. Our conscience is seared and we have chosen death instead of LIFE.

Let us not grow weary in well doing. We can still push back darkness and contend for cities, regions and nations to be spared, etc. Prophets will be sent to evil rulers with mighty power, warnings followed with signs and wonders. We win, just like Elijah, Daniel, Joseph and many others before us. And those who have not survived their lion's den experiences won also.

We are truly entering into the Great & Terrible/Awesome in Power Day of the Lord!

(This is the scripture that really spoke to me. Because the trumpet was blown throughout the churches of California and out of how many million Christians only 30,000 came to battle at Qualcomm stadium in San Diego; it holds 75,000 for concerts, I bet that many would have came for U2)

14 ‘ They have blown the trumpet and made everyone ready,

But no one goes to battle;

For My wrath is on all their multitude.
15 The sword is outside,
And the pestilence and famine within.
Whoever is in the field
Will die by the sword;
And whoever is in the city,
Famine and pestilence will devour him.

(This verse also stuck out. It is a song lyric on the new Luke Wood album and I feel it is a very prophetic CD)

Nor fill their stomachs,-this has been my/our greatest downfall
Because it became their stumbling block of iniquity.

20 ‘ As for the beauty of his ornaments,

21 I will give it as plunder -the media is completely given over to our enemies

(Those that break the bands of God's law asunder, and cast away those cords from them, will find themselves bound and held by the chains of his judgments, which they cannot break nor cast from them. The chain signified the siege of Jerusalem, or the slavery of those that were carried into captivity, or that they were all bound over to the righteous judgment of God, reserved in chains.)

24 Therefore I will bring the worst of the Gentiles,
And they will possess their houses; -Government will take over (socialism)
I will cause the pomp of the strong to cease,
And their holy places shall be defiled. -Christians will be forced to accept homosexuality, businesses, churches, etc.

25 Destruction comes;
They will seek peace, but there shall be none.
26 Disaster will come upon disaster,
And rumor will be upon rumor.
Then they will seek a vision from a prophet;
But the law will perish from the priest, -pastors not willing to take a stand for righteousness, because of the cost
And counsel from the elders.
27 ‘ The king will mourn,
The prince will be clothed with desolation,
And the hands of the common people will tremble.
I will do to them according to their way,
And according to what they deserve I will judge them;

Then they (all of us) shall know that I am the LORD!’”

I do not welcome this word, it does not make me happy, I do not want judgment, I do not want to see God's anger manifested, I tremble as I write this and pray that I will truly enter into a Jeremiah 9 season, I wish we all would of been in a Jeremiah 9 season already, but we have all played the harlot with this world system, and God will bring us out one way or another. And I believe that The Call California was not in vain. God heard the cries and it will spare millions. But overall the cry for mercy did not tip the scales and the cry for change (evil times ahead) was louder.

We have just put a king in place, we have not elected a President, but a king was raised up by God. Just like He anointed a king to take his people captive in Daniel's day, he has done it again.

Some commentary:

The day of real trouble is near, not a mere echo or rumour of troubles. Whatever are the fruits of God's judgments, our sin is the root of them.

Sooner or later, sin will cause sorrow; and those who will not repent of their sin, may justly be left to pine away in it. There are many whose wealth is their snare and ruin; and the gaining the world is the losing of their souls. Riches profit not in the day of wrath. The wealth of this world has not that in it which will answer the desires of the soul, or be any satisfaction to it in a day of distress. God's temple shall stand them in no stead. Those are unworthy to be honoured with the form of godliness, who will not be governed by its power.

Whoever break the bands of God's law, will find themselves bound and held by the chains of his judgments. Since they encouraged one another to sin, God would dishearten them.

CHOOSE LIFE!

Send this to all your Christian friends and family that think they can vote for Obama and vote their conscience!

No one is a one issue voter, but if it came down to it you have to choose LIFE over all the others, there is no comparison. In fact it is proven in God's word that if you kill the most innocent (shedding of innocent blood) there will be a reckoning from the hand of God himself.

Genesis 9:6 "Whoever sheds man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed; for in the image of God He made man."

A baby murdered in the womb bleeds and God said whoever did it, their blood will be shed. A baby is created and made in God's image and He has plans and hopes for each one. To kill it and not give him or her any chance to live does not sit to kindly with God. The weak and the innocent are very dear to his heart.

And we are all guilty, so unless there is a cry for mercy like in Joel 2, the judgments of God will come to us. The come in the form of addictions, cancers, crime, economic woes, war (bloodshed), captivity (yes it can happen to America) etc.

The environment begins with LIFE and how we treat it.

Numbers 35:33 says this, "So you shall not pollute the land in which you live; for blood pollutes the land, and no atonement can be made for the land for the blood shed in it, but by the blood of him who shed it."

Psalm 106:35 "But mingled themselves with the [idolatrous] nations and learned their ways and works

36And served their idols, which were a snare to them.

37Yes, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters to demons(P)

38And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan; and the land was polluted with their blood.

39Thus were they defiled by their own works, and they played the harlot and practiced idolatry with their own deeds [of idolatrous rites].

40Therefore was the wrath of the Lord kindled against His people, insomuch that He abhorred and rejected His own heritage.(Q)

41And He gave them into the hands of the [heathen] nations, and they that hated them ruled over them.

42Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under the hand of their foes.

You see above some of what happened to them...He (God, the same Jesus who came in a manger) gave them into the hands of those who hated them (can you say liberals, muslims, and militant homosexuals) and they ruled over them...Their enemies also oppressed them...

This is God's judgment on a nation that shed's innocent blood and does not repent from it's sexual immorality. Only a cry for mercy can hold this back and cause it to be lessened. But according to Joel, once you are at this point it is coming, but we as intercessors can have a hand in holding back the fullness of God's wrath.

OH GOD, PLEASE DO NOT GIVE US WHAT WE DESERVE, BUT GIVE US MERCY, EXTEND YOUR MERCY TO AMERICA ONCE AGAIN!

What if you lived in 1930's Germany?

What if you lived in 1930's Germany and you had lots of clues that Hitler was a seriously dangerous person and wanted to not just "Change" Germany but drastically change it?

It doesn't take a degree to figure this out. You don't even need the gift of discernment per se. There are many non-Christians who can see what is happening before our very eyes.

I could post 10 or so links to many of these clues, but I have grown weary of it. There is only one hope (The True Messiah and future King of the Planet Jesus Christ of Nazareth) and that is to pray for Mercy for our nation.

I do want to leave a couple comments from talk radio today:

-The would not let someone become an FBI agent, CIA agent, Secret Service member who had the connections to these criminals that Obama has. But you can become President of our country??????

-McCain says that he is not concerned with the fact that Bill Ayers is a terrorist, just that Obama is showing poor judgment.
(the truth is being hid from people's eyes, from McCain all the way down. It is a spiritual force at work.)

-Bill Ayers is not just some radical left wing, that is a nice term for the truth. The truth is He and Jeremiah Wright, Louis Farrakan, and all those who have groomed Obama, are not just radicals, but they have real agendas, real world views with these mixed in: Racism, Communism/Marxism/Socialism, Radical Islam, Terrorism, Pacifism

Hitler had nothing on these guys. Yes I am comparing all this with Hitler and 1930's Germany! I have a handful of books on my coffee table about how Hitler came to power.

I can read a few pages out those books and then go online and read a few of these Obama ties and connections, etc. and it all seems like the same book. Like history repeating itself!!

I know these things are coming to the planet soon. The Day of the Lord is coming and it will be Great and Terrible(Awesome in Power and Shaking). But here in America, I believe we can push back the timing on it. Not that I don't want Jesus to come back like right now, but there are billions of souls in the balance. And our we ready for the persecution that is coming soon? Hello American church, its coming sooner or later!

So all of this can make you angry, fearful, and hopeless. If you are normal, you have experienced all 3 of these emotions. But there is only one safe place and one place to take all these cares/fears/anger, etc. and that is to the Throne of Grace in our time of need.

First for our own hearts. If you lived in 1930's Germany and could see ahead 10 years it would be a very heavy burden on your heart. That is how this is feeling now. So we have to first take care of our own hearts. Men's hearts will begin to fail them because of fear. Jesus said this in advance, He told us so we would be able to deal with it. Fear will be a huge issue in these final days of this Age.

Next will be Anger(spirit of murder) this will be one of the big sins of the last days. (see Rev. 9:13-21) When the sides are drawn like they are right now, it will get violent. How will we keep from responding in the same spirit? We have to get the spirit of murder/anger out of our hearts. We have to be dead to it. He will help us. He will lead us into the truth of our hearts and then into repentance and then into freedom from it.

After we deal with our own hearts and while we do (it is an ongoing process) we can then pray for our nation, cities, families, etc.

So from reading about this election, about Obama, the financial crisis, the "state of" California, Islam's advancement in the earth, etc. one could easily be overcome with fear, anger and hopelessness. Also one could become filled with truth and know all this but not have any answers.

I am convinced just for my own survival, that if one reads even a couple blogs, news sites, sits in a coffee shop, etc. in a day he will surely begin to feel the pressure or shaking that is coming on the planet, so we must be in prayer. It is the only safe place. Like Luke Wood sings "He is like a hurricane, In His Eye is the only safe place... so keep me as the apple of Your eye."

And lastly here is a dream that sums up my heart right now:

One leader at IHOP in Kansas City was given a dream where an angel appeared and kneeled before her, looking very directly into her eye and opened a scroll which read- THERE HAS BEEN A CHANGE IN PLANS.

THE CRY FOR 'CHANGE' IS LOUDER THEN THE CRY FOR 'MERCY'

THE PEOPLE HAVE ASKED FOR A KING AND A KING THE PEOPLE SHALL HAVE.

He then asked her --"

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT? "

In this hour, let us click off our computers more, shut off our phones, cancel appointments, say no to extra income, lighten our schedule, and read less news, and make some history.

Join me in fasting and praying for mercy for our nation in this critical hour!

I cannot shake this...

I have felt this is my spirit since spending time standing in front of modern, nice, clean clinics right in the middle of regular American neighborhoods, where I watched in horror as mothers went in with a baby in their belly and then came out without one. (SOMETHING IS WRONG HERE)I sometimes could feel the babies heartbeating to the beat of fear as it went in the clinic and could sense it was unsafe and that death was near.

I have felt this in my spirit when I watched and prayed and fasted and weeped as one modern American judge brought all the branches of American government to its knees and ordered the killing of an innocent Terri Schiavo on March 31, 2005. And I watched as American policeman protected with weapons the killing of this helpless and voiceless woman.

I felt this in my spirit when I walked through the Jewish Holocaust Museum in Washington DC. and knew that it was beginning to happen again right in front of our eyes. I saw no difference between Hitler's plans and our Abortion and right to suicide laws.

And I felt this in my spirit last year when Barak Hussein Obama began to appear on the scene. I couldn't place my finger on it but I could put my spirit on it. Something wasn't right with him, something was more sinister with him than with Al Gore or John Kerry, or some of the senators that I faced eye to eye in senate committee hearings for the cause of Life.

I have felt in my spirit in all these cases that we are in a moment like Germany was in a moment in the 1930's. People wanted change then and they certainly got that! They were the most educated and cultured society in Europe then. Yes they were war torn and wounded (sound familar) also, but they were educated Christians mostly.

We all ask this "How did they also such a man to power?" Because they were asleep, they were sick of war (and what did they get from their man of change? more war, just like we would if Obama was elected, more bloodshed would be assured.)

Hitler won the masses with his powerful speeches and lofty and scary promises.

Demagogic Oratory

Demagogue - A person who gains power through impassioned public appeals to the emotions and prejudices of a group by speaking or writing.

Socrates said tragedy is the mother of demagogic oratory. In other words Barak Hussein Obama is using the tragedy that has happen to African Americans and the anger of those who cry "peace, peace" (anti-war/bush pacifist's) as doorway into the wounded and angry emotions of the nation. I have just listened to an interview on the radio with a young Christian woman who has just returned from a seven month trip to Kenya. The Lord spoke to her and instructed her to go to Kenya. I will not mention her name for security reasons, but I can send you the name if you wish privately. This young woman was told by the Holy Spirit to go to Kenya and speak to the people that they might repent and avoid civil war. Many attrocities have been done in intertribal warfare regarding elections. God said to go to the leaders and tell them to forgive the killers, to stop their wicked occult practices and ritual blood covenants and genie worship, and to repent and be healed, in the name of Jesus!!

She finally was able to get her clearances and go to Kenya. This is a paraphrase of what she reports. The cousin of Barack Obama, named Ryala Odinga, was running for president of the country of Kenya, apparently. His father has been vice-president of the country back in the 1960's.
Obama went over to Kenya in 2006 to campaign for Odinga. Obama and Odinga in Kenya are of the Luo tribe. This muslim tribe worships genies and practices voodoo, wicked blood covenant practices and the occult. The worship of genies is an occult practice in the Koran which stems from early Babylonia.

Odinga just ran for president in Kenya and lost. When Obama made a trip to see his cousin there in 2006, he promised to completely back Odinga and all of his plans. Odinga made a pact at that time to bring back strict sharia law, by rewriting the laws and imposing sharia law upon all citizens. Sharia law strictly curtails women's rights. Obama backed him totally and praised him to the skies.
When Odinga lost the recent presidential election, he said that the election was hijacked by the winner's side. Therefore, he told his followers to attack and kill the Christians in Kenya! They did as he ordered! Terrible violence and loss of life followed.

This young woman went and stood at the sites where the churches were burned down, with the paritioners inside. People were trapped and burned alive! The eyewitnesses and those who has escaped being killed told their stories. They wept and they sought to forgive. This young lady actually prayed with them and they forgave their captors and some new believers accepted Christ. There has been a great spirit of repentance in Kenya and a time of healing.

But, this young woman wanted to warn us about information she received while talking with hundreds of Kenyan citizens, whose stories were all the same, and confirmed each other's versions.
They said that Barack Obama is a Muslim! She was told this by the tribes' peoples; all of the tribes she spoke to. The whole occult world is standing with Barack Obama. He is being backed by evil forces. His entire tribe of Luo is deeply entrenched in the occult of demonic practices.

How asleep are we?
That is not saying "I am pro choice" it is saying "I am not a pro life person, I am a pro death person." Because you would not be calling those who disagree with you Pro Life if you had a clue about matters of life and death, you would say something like "I am pro life but I disagree on this point..." or something similar. But Pro-Death people dare not speak that they are For Life because they are not and "out the mouth speaks the issues of the heart." They are unable to say they are Pro Life unless they are!!

Loren Cunningham and Bill Bright each had a spiritual experience in which the vision was imparted to them by God of “seven chief categories of society” where the church needed to “concentrate” to “turn the nations back to God.” The following quote is from Loren Cunningham’s book Making Jesus Lord (YWAM, 1988, p. 134), where he recounts this experience. Cunningham wrote:

Horton Hears A Who

The LIFE message about Horton Hears a Who and the Red LIFE tape was preached & prophesied at the Hollywood opening!! (I have this gut feeling it was my friend Eddie from California :)

This movie is a prophetic word right from God's heart. The pro-life message has been hindered mainly by one reason, not reaching the children.

One of the main ways to change the culture of a nation is to teach the children your ideas. We have tried to battle the adults with opposing views instead of seeking ways to get the LIFE message to the children. Once they are taught an idea then a whole generation or culture will believe it.

But through night and day prayer and fasting God released His own ideas about how to end abortion. I was there as a pioneering member of the Justice House of Prayer in DC when Lou gathered us in the room and told us about the "Who" dream and email. I remember Lou saying, "You might think this is a pizza dream (like a joke or something) but I think it is the most vunerable part of God's heart daring us to believe like a little kid (which the dream was given to a 15 year old) that HE could take a children's story to help end abortion and change the thinking of a whole generation. Yes we want abortion to end but what's most important is for there to be a culture of LIFE! I remember us praying over that dream in the JHOP prayer room for quite a while, in fact that dream stuck with us all and has been a prayer point ever since. Because it is an arrow from the heart of the Lord to be shot through prayer into the heart of His enemies (death culture of America). As Lou always taught us, strike the arrows (prayer points) and keep on striking them, until we get a full victory. We prayed for the Horton story to be spread all over America. I remember us praying for it to become a movie more than once, and remember this was back in early 2005. There was no talk of this in Hollywood, except maybe an idea or desire in a director's head.

But when God's people pray what He shows them to pray, no matter how corny or even cute, He will breath on it and do amazing things, yes way above what we think or imagine.

At Titan stadium in Nashville on 7.7.7 as Lou told the Horton story on God TV, I remember just sitting there weeping because God heard a bunch of ragamuffin kids in a hidden room in one of the most powerful cities on the earth praying dorky little prayers about a "pizza dream" and now that story was being broadcast to hundreds of nations on God TV plus on the webcast to thousands more homes. I was humbled by the fact that God really moves on behalf of those who lift up a voice for the voiceless.

Now the movie is here, let's mobilize God's Army (the little kids who know the truth) and let them sing it, yell it, preach it, teach it, etc. WARNING this movie is anointed and will stir your heart. You will want to preach right there in the movie theater as some already have!

I have much to write about this movie and this next season in America. Next up is a story of a baby saved the first night of the film in Nebraska. She hadn't even seen it yet, she was just told about it and began to weep decide against keeping her abortion clinic less than 48 hours from that moment (to be continued).

“In May of 1860, the votes of 233 delegates were required to win the Republican nomination. Abraham Lincoln arrived at that convention starting only with the support of the 22 delegates from Illinois. He went on to win the nomination.”

This is why a brokered convention is so important! Abraham Lincoln won with less than 10% of the delegates to start off.

David Davis (Lincoln's campaign manager) and Abraham Lincoln shared the same view when it came to the slavery issue. They both agreed that slavery was wrong. Abraham Lincoln chose his Supreme Court justices based on their points of view. That is why, when Abraham Lincoln became president, he appointed Davis to the Supreme Court.

Lincoln won the election with less than 40% of the vote. Six out of ten of the American people had not voted for him and did not like him. Almost all of Lincoln’s votes came from the northern states. Almost nobody in the southern states voted for Lincoln. In the southern states, most of the people voted for Breckenridge. Most of the voters in the South hated Lincoln.

One of the most interesting American political stories involves the nomination of Abraham Lincoln to be the Republican party’s candidate for President of the United States in 1860. This was the Republican party’s second presidential convention, and the man everyone expected to receive the nomination was the powerful and well-known William H. Seward of New York. Abraham Lincoln, although having recently been introduced to eastern audiences through a series of political speeches in New England, and prior to that having gained some fame due to his participation in “the Great Debates” with Stephen A. Douglas, was not considered a serious contender for the appointment. How he and his political team brought him from “dark horse” contender to the victor is the subject of the following article.

The man who was, far and away, the most prominent candidate for the nomination, was William H. Seward, of New York. He had the benefit of thirty years of experience in political life. A careful canvas had been made of the voters of Springfield, and the intention of each voter had been recorded. Lincoln had the book containing this record. He asked his friend Mr. Bateman, the State Superintendent of Public Instruction, to look through the book with him. They noted particularly those who might be considered leaders of public morals: clergymen, officers, or prominent members of the churches.

When the memorandum was tabulated, after some minutes of silence, he turned a sad face to Mr. Bateman, and said: “Here are twenty-three ministers, of different denominations, and all of them are against me but three; and here are a great many prominent members of the churches, a very large majority of whom are against me. Mr. Bateman, I am not a Christian–God knows I would be one–but I have carefully read the Bible, and I do not so understand this book.” He drew from his pocket a New Testament. “These men well know that I am for freedom in the territories, freedom everywhere as far as the Constitution and laws will permit, and that my opponents are for slavery. They know this, and yet, with this book in their hands, in the light of which human bondage cannot live a moment, they are going to vote against me. I do not understand it at all.”

After a long pause, he added with tears: “I know there is a God, and that He hates injustice and slavery. I see the storm coming, and I know that His hand is in it. If He has a place and work for me–and I think He has–I believe I am ready. I am nothing, but truth is everything. I know I am right because I know that liberty is right, for Christ teaches it, and Christ is God. I have told them that a house divided against itself cannot stand, and Christ and reason say the same; and they will find it so. Douglas doesn’t care whether slavery is voted up or voted down, but God cares, and humanity cares, and I care; and with God’s help I shall not fail. I may not see the end; but it will come and I shall be vindicated; and these men will find that they have not read their Bibles aright.”

After another pause: “Doesn’t it appear strange that men can ignore the moral aspects of this contest? A revelation could not make it plainer to me that slavery or the government must be destroyed. The future would be something awful, as I look at it, but for this rock [the Testament which he was holding] on which I stand,–especially with the knowledge of how these ministers are going to vote. It seems as if God had borne with this thing [slavery] until the very teachers of religion had come to defend it from the Bible, and to claim for it a divine character and sanction; and now the cup of iniquity is full, and the vials of wrath will be poured out.”

Lincoln carried all the free states, excepting that in New Jersey the electoral vote was divided, he receiving four out of seven. In the fifteen slave states he received no electoral vote. In ten states not one person had voted for him.

New Beginnings: Chapter 2

The Tale of Todd and The Two Reagan's (Part One)

While in Boulder, Reagan C. (whom I will dub "RC" for this blog post so you do not get confused.) and I stayed at the home of Reagan R's mom. Reagan R. is a man, ok got it. We will dub him "RR." He is also from RC's community of friends in Austin, Texas.

The first day we slept (after driving all night) relaxed and ate Ethiopian food (good stuff!). Day two RC and I hiked Glacier Rim trail. We hiked up above the tree line, elevation of 13,000 ft. above sea level, YA!!!

We had a great hike of talking, lots of praying, singing, shouting (not at each other) Praising, knocking down New Age altars that were on the trail, we ate (a rueben from Whole Foods) and some sweet encounters with the Holy Spirit. The views, and the fellowship with each other and the Holy Spirit were the best part of the day. And the fact that I held my own physically with a licensed fitness trainer (RC).

The next morning we didn't have a real plan but had some ideas. And that night we were planning on watching the meteor shower in the mountains, specifically RC and I had planned that. Also RC was meeting some old friends in Fort Collins and RR and I were planning to join her. Somehow we (RR and I) came to the conclusion the RC needed/wanted a day by herself in the mountains and that we would go hang out in the mountains and do some male bonding. Later we found out the conclusion we came to was wrong, by a long ways!

So RR and I borrowed his mom's brand new (or close to it) Mercedes Convertible and headed for Vail and beyond. We didn't have a plan and just drove. Supposedly we would make it back to meet with RC in Ft. Collins. But as the distance began to grow it wasn't looking good to get back and meet her. We sat on a dock at Dillion Reservoir and gazed at sailboats and mountains. We ate at Vail and drove through the mountains in this sweet convertible. My first call to Reagan to let her know we wouldn't make it was not good!

So you know, guys go into that damage control mode and try to salvage some of the situation. We decided to head back (there was NO CHANCE or slim to none that we would make it in time to even catch them on their third or fourth beverage refill) and feel like we were gonna help things out some.

On the way out of Dillion some wild things began to happen. First, major traffic jam, now we are done for, RC will not be happy. Then it began to rain, top had to come back on. We were on the west side of this tunnel and on the west side of some peaks. And then up on the right a sweet double rainbow formed. The main rainbow, was honestly the most brilliant and beautiful one I have ever witnessed. And they both came down and literally landed in the trees not far from us. I used my binoculars to spot the chest of gold, but there was a leprochaun or was that an elk protecting it. Ya right!

So God begins speaking about covenant (hmm) and about Noah. And here is a good nugget from His word. Every time there is a rainbow God himself looks at and remembers his covenant with man. "...and I will look on it to remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all the flesh that is on the earth." -Gen. 9:16

Isn't amazing that God looks at each rainbow to remember? Why does he look at each one to remember? It is not like God will ever have a memory problem. It's one of those amazing God things that we do not have revelation or great answers as to why He does it that way. And that's ok, lets search it out and look for nuggets. But really who is like this God? He is totally other than.

Back from the bunny trail (God is always a good bunny trail). Next there is some movement and we get through the tunnel and then stopped again on the other side. There we parked again but now we were right next to the reason for the traffic jam. A major accident. There were law enforcement people everywhere, emt's, and a flight for life helicopter, etc. It was mainly between a semi and a car. And there was hardly anything left of the car, really. You could feel death in the air. Soberness came flying into our car. Yet we looked up to the right and there was the other end of that beautiful rainbow. The glory of God and the death and pain of earth all right before our eyes. We began to get revelation on how it was in the days of Noah and how it will be during "The Day of the Lord." There will be God's promises and goodness and glory right before our eyes and then blood, death, and pain everywhere around us, all at the same time.
"For the Day of the Lord is GREAT and TERRIBLE; Who can endure it?" (joel 2)
It truly was a picture of what it will be like. Imagine seeing people from your town or neighborhood on one day at Wal-Mart or school, or church or work, etc and then on the next day find out hundreds were killed from a tornado, flood, shooting, etc.

We got back and Reagan C. was still in Ft. Collins and didn't care to see us any time soon so we (Reagan R. and I) went up to nearby (10min) mountain and watched the meteor shower. This turned into some intense intercession and a river of violent tongues which were definitely about the Boulder area. God was breaking our hearts for the city of Boulder and the University of Colorado.

The next day we all put the previous day's miscommunication on the table and made peace. Here was some beginning signs that Reagan C. and I were starting to like each other more than friends. She was mostly ticked because she wanted to be with me and I was actually restless and mostly unexcited and distracted about driving through the incredible beauty of the Rockies in a convertible Mercedes. Who would not be happy doing that? Me because I was missing her and wishing I had "chosen wisely."

We toppled a few Buddha's at Reagan R.'s moms house while there and then we doused the place in oil and prayer the whole time we were there. And yes we had to put all the Buddha's back in place before we left. But we had an encouraging dream the morning we left. In it a little green monster died. RR's mom is gonna get set free from darkness!!

We hit Whole Foods one last time and hit the highway, again driving at night, pulling into KC at 6am.

New Beginnings: Chapter 1

In the aftermath of the Call Nashville I was feeling it was time to step down from the position of Transportation Coordinator of the IHOP Missions Base. And I felt like I was suppose to step down from full-time staff to part-time staff. I didn't know what I would be doing next, but just to follow those instructions. So at the end of July I stepped down. Then one day the sitting in the prayer room after a day of standing on the wall, I said "Lord what do you have to say to me right now?" He began to speak about New Beginnings, and He took me to Romans 6:4.

Romans 6:4-Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was rasied from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

He said new things are coming, the times and seasons are gonna change. And He specifically said "New Beginnings."

So I have this friend named Reagan from Austin, Texas, whom I met in Washington, DC back in 2005.
We connected there as friends and then we talked again at One Thing 2005. Then at the IHOP Baptism Service on November 12, 2006 I was baptized that night and she decided to do it too. And she asked me to walk with her through the procession, as she was a bit doused in the Spirit and needed some assistance.

That has been our friendship. Then on the six month anniversary (May 12) of our baptism she called and we have been talking and praying together on a weekly or bi-weekly basis since that time.

She was coming to a wedding in KC in August but was going to hike and climb some mountains and hang out in Boulder for a couple days first. Turns out she asked me if I wanted to go and on short notice I said sure.

So on Aug. 8th around the midnight hour we drove off to Boulder in a cool red Matrix rental car. The date was 8/8/7.

So on 8/8 two friends drive off to hike mountains and hang out in one of the coolest cities in America and one of the most wicked cities in America, Boulder, Colorado.

The saga will continue...

I am back to the blog.

First off, it is nearly impossible to type when the "e,d, c and 3" keys do not work. It makes emailing and blogging a difficult task to say the least.

Count it all joy!

One good thing is that not being able to use a computer pretty much leaves you with a Bible, books, and 20lb. commentaries. This allows (forces) you to dig into the Bible more.

I did miss being able to write about all the things going on in my life these last couple months. I will recap some of the last couple months in the next few days. It was a whirlwind of activity with many new things happening.

So welcome back Todd to the blog world, you left it, it never left you! There, now I feel better about it.

Angels of Revelation

My friend Justin invited me to minister with him at a church in Wichita last weekend. We had the privilege of teaching on the prophetic to a group of people from various churchs who have been going through the School of the Spirit (a Morningstar class to equip believers in the prophetic).

It was awesome to see people from all ages and all walks of life hungry to grow in the prophetic and not just grow but they are itching to get out of the four walls and go get the harvest. After teaching and prophesying to about 25 people we got a real treat. Ray Hughes and Leonard Jones were at the same church that night and the next morning leading the worship and preaching. Also two of Ricky Skaggs' children were playing with Leonard. They brought out the fiddle and the banjo and we got down with Jesus!!

The CauseUSA was also passing through this church. Leonard and Ray and many other annointed "worshipping fathers" were traveling with the Cause. Sunday afternoon we joined the Cause and Operation Rescue (based in Wichita) at the Tiller Abortion Clinic for a prayer vigil. What happened at this prayer vigil was one of the most amazing things I have experienced praying at abortion clinics...

There was an air show in Wichita that same weekend and as we were praying in front of this blood stained building the Blue Angels began to fly over the clinic! Not kind of over the clinic but directly over it again and again!! They would roar over us! There was such a feeling of victory in the air. Such a powerful sign in the natural that God is truly fighting for us, "The LORD Roars from Zion..." (Joel 3 and Amos 1). We felt that these were representing Angels of Revelation, that God is sending a Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation to His people and to mothers thinking about abortion and even to the doctors and nurses peforming the murders and to the church to awaken from its sleep of death.

You have to know the history of this paticular clinic in Wichita and some other disturbing news from the city of Wichita. This city has been known as "the abortion capital of the world." Because the doctor, George Tiller will do abortions right up to the last few weeks of a pregnancy, so people will fly in from all over the world because not very many clinics go to that level of depravity.

We are declaring that Wichita is now "the Life capital of the world." And this is already unfolding before our eyes. It is one of the few places on the planet where they are actually teaching the medical profession how to be pro-life. As we all know much of the thinking in the medical field is to treat symptoms and there are levels of greed that run deep in the AMA. And greed is the underlying foundation of most of the pro-death rationale. The Gideon band or intercessors in this city have been through a tough battle for LIFE but they are hanging in there and being strengthened and equiped to cross over in this very hour!

Wichita, Kansas- LIFE Capital of The World!

As I walked from the car to the clinic the first thing I noticed was a house right near the clinic. A guy was mowing his lawn in the middle of this prayer meeting. I couldn't help think of Psalm 37 and the future of the most infamous abortion clinic in the world.

7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him;

Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way,

Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass.

8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath;

Do not fret—it only causes harm.

9 For evildoers shall be cut off;

But those who wait on the LORD,

They shall inherit the earth.

10 For yet a little while and the wicked shall be no more;

Indeed, you will look carefully for his place,

But it shall be no more.

11 But the meek shall inherit the earth,

And shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

The evil of abortion will be cut off; mowed down; whacked! If we wait upon the Lord and do not fret or worry (If we fast and pray and stay in the opposite spirit of murder which is meekness).

For soon; in a little while; in the near future! The George Tiller clinic will be NO MORE!!

Eagles removed from In-Danger List.

In 1963 Prayer and Bible reading were removed from U.S. public schools by the Supreme Court. That same year there were only 417 eagle pairs left in all of America.

In 1973 our country made it legal to murder babies, that same year bald eagles were put on the Endangered Species Act. This generation of babies (prophets) has been "In Danger" for 34 years. This is another signpost that abortion is gonna end and the babies will no longer be "In Danger." God is taking them off of the "In Danger" List!! (If the church prays!)

Now in 2007 there is more prayer among the youth in churches, schools and on campuses then ever before in history. At the same time there are 10,000 eagle pairs again flourishing on our soil.

Also Art Katz passed away on the same day June 28th, 2007. One eagle falls into the ground and dies and a whole generation WILL BE BORN to rise and fly!

I would love to hear some comments and more prophetic insight concerning this...

Bald Eagle Soars Off Endangered Species List
It’s official!
After nearly disappearing from most of the U.S., the bald eagle is now flourishing and no longer needs the protection of the Endangered Species Act. The nation’s symbol has recovered from an all-time low of 417 nesting pairs in 1963 to an estimated high of 9,789 breeding pairs today, and will be removed from the list of threatened and endangered species.
To ensure that eagles continue to thrive, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will work with state wildlife agencies to monitor eagles for at least five years. If it appears that bald eagles again need the protection of the Endangered Species Act, the Service can propose to relist the species. The Service is also making the draft post-delisting monitoring plan available and is soliciting public comment for 90 days.
The bald eagle first gained federal protection in 1940, under what was later named the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act. The law curbed illegal hunting and shooting of eagles for their feathers, but they soon fell victim to another threat: DDT. The widespread use of the pesticide DDT after World War II caused eagle populations to plummet towards extinction. When DDT washed off into waterways, it was absorbed by aquatic plants and animals. When eagles ate contaminated fish, they would then be poisoned. DDT prevented the proper formulation of calcium necessary to produce strong eggshells. Consequently, the thinned eggshells cracked when an adult bird tired to incubate them. Widespread reproductive failure and a precipitous decline in numbers followed. As a result, the bald eagle was protected in 1967 under the precursor to the Endangered Species Act. The eagle continued to be protected when the Endangered Species Act of 1973 was enacted.
The legal protections given the species by these statutes, along with a crucial decision by the Environmental Protection Agency to ban the general use of DDT in 1972, provided the springboard for the Service and its partners to accelerate recovery through captive breeding programs, reintroductions, law enforcement efforts, protection of habitat around nest sites and land purchase and preservation activities.
The bald eagle will continue to be protected by the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act and Migratory Bird Treaty Act.

Did you see the heavens speaking to us tonight? It began at 5:30. You could see what looked like a portal coming down before the service. I had to leave the service right when the glory of God was coming into the service (when David Brymer began his chorus).

When I walked outside the picture above is what I saw. Click on the photo above to see more of the glory shots.

I was struck by Psalm 19 verse 1 (hence the title) and I was specifically feeling verse 5.

"...He set a tabernacle for the sun, which is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber."

Now I know that this is speaking of a bridegroom after consummation of the marriage, but I felt like the sun rays were declaring Jesus is coming out of His chamber (the Father's bosom) after 2000 years! And after I had wrote that down a little boy was standing outside the coffee shop and gazing at the "portal looking" clouds. He said "Look Jesus is coming!" That's enough for me.

While we gather at Titans Stadium in Nashville to fast, pray, mourn and cry out to God in humble acknowledgement of our turning from Him and His ways and asking for mercy. Al Gore (meeting at Giants stadium above right) and others will be gathering at various cities around the globe. What are they gonna be doing? Istanbul, Turkey
I find it quite interesting that Istanbul, Turkey was chosen as one of the cities. This city has not been a key city on the earth for centuries, until now. Something shifted in Turkey when three of our Christian brothers were brutally martyred earlier this month. THIS IS LONG, BUT IMPORTANT TO READ, IT CONCERNS JOEL 2

At our prayer room team debrief we talked about dreams. Which lead to end-times that many on the team have had. Which lead to a dream someone had about an earthquake in Missouri.

At a recent staff meeting a word was released (from a dream) about great trouble coming to Missouri. Trouble coming like Missourians have never known. Then she said "I don't know if it is an earthquake or what." She wasn't implying or prophesying that it was gonna be an earthquake at all. But I have found that many times under that kind of prophetic spirit that even our guesses are prophesying. And I left the meeting that day feeling like it was going to be an earthquake.

Now back to the dream in our de-brief. It was an earthquake by St. Louis and it the dream the people were in a house (I assume in KC, because they are all living in KC). And the house they were in went up in the air and so did they. First they felt a little shake, and one person said, "Here comes a big earthquake," and then they could feel major rolling or land movement, however you want to word it. They were unharmed, but were violently moved around.

This is long but it is quotes I took from various websites relating to the New Madrid Fault line. YOU MUST READ THESE:

Among them are three earthquakes that occurred in 1811 and 1812 near New Madrid, MO. They are among the Great earthquakes of known history, affecting the topography more than any other earthquake on the North American continent. Judging from their effects, they were of a magnitude of 8.0 or higher on the Richter Scale. They were felt over the entire United States outside of the Pacific coast. Large areas sank into the earth, new lakes were formed, the course of the Mississippi River was changed, and forests were destroyed over an area of 150,000 acres. Many houses at New Madrid were thrown down. "Houses, gardens, and fields were swallowed up" one source notes. But fatalities and damage were low, because the area was sparsely settled then. The probability for an earthquake of magnitude 6.0 or greater is significant in the near future, with a 50% chance by the year 2000 and a 90% chance by the year 2040. A quake with a magnitude equal to that of the 1811- 1812 quakes could result in great loss of life and property damage in the billions of dollars. Scientists believe we could be overdue for a large earthquake and through research and public awareness may be able to prevent such losses. But the Eastern and Midwestern states also face ground shaking of colossal proportions, repetitions of such known upheavals as the 1886 Charleston, S.C., quake, the 1755 Boston quake, and the Jamaica Bay quake hundreds of years ago on New York's Long Island. The granddaddy of them all was the 1811-1812 series of three great quakes on the New Madrid Fault (halfway between St. Louis and Memphis beneath the Mississippi), which shook the entire United States. The next time the New Madrid Fault produces such a quake, it is estimated 60 percent of Memphis will be devastated, leaving $50 Billion in damage and thousands of dead in its wake. Memphis, you see - like Armenia - has looked down the barrel of a loaded seismic gun for decades, but has done virtually nothing to move out of the crosshairs. If you look at all the hazards we face in this country, this one would rewrite the definition of 'catastrophic,'" said Jim Wilkinson, head of the Central United States Earthquake Consortium in Memphis, Tenn. "Everything comes through this region. If we go down, it's not just a regional issue — it's a national problem."

Thanks for all the prayers everybody!

My mom did get out of the hospital and is home recovering. All the tests came back negative concerning the MRSA infection. It turned out to be staff infection. Thank you Jesus! My brother's surgery went well also and he is home. My mom should be able to get a new hip put in within a few weeks. Then it will be two more months of recovery. My mom is in good spirits despite it all.

After spending a lot of time with family and helping around the house I arrived back in KC on Saturday night.

Highlights:
*my mom's life is not in danger and she is much closer to getting a new hip and finishing this ordeal that really has interrupted her life for 2 years.

*Going to one of my favorite places on earth to talk to God. The Sandhills of Nebraska. I had to drive about 10 miles north of my hometown each night to get to my spot, and what a spot it is. The sky is a canopy of stars. I mean a thick canopy. There are no major cities for hundreds of miles so there is no "light pollution" at all. It was difficult to leave each morning, to leave the stars and my Heavenly Father. As always He threw a few stars around the sky for my viewing pleasure.

*Seeing my 8 year old nephew Riley's two baseball games and playing catch with him and his sisters.

*Praying with my Pastor for healing for my mom and praying with my good friend Bruce for the same thing.

*Seeing my brothers and dad.

*Seeing some key prophetic dreams about my family come into play and show me that God is truly at work in their lives.

*Leaving ihop with many friends praying for my mom and family--PRICELESS!
*Coming home to ihop!!

My mom is recovering

Here is the update on my mom's situation. She was brought to the emergency room last Tuesday night. I drove from KC to North Platte, NE on Wed. She has had test after test since then. And her condition has went from possibly life threatening to stable.

She has been fighting an infection callled MRSA. This infection has nearly taken her life twice in the last year and a half. She had emergency open heart surgery in January 06 because the infection destroyed her heart valve. Then this January it showed up in her right hip area. Apparently the artificial hip had been the root of the infection. So in January of 07 they removed her hip and then have been giving her strong antibiotics to get rid of the infection completely so they can put in another new hip. But they have to be sure there is no remaining infection.

Basically she has been without a hip since January, ya four months of difficult living. We were all hoping that she was close to getting the OK and able to get the new hip. But last Tuesday she had been feeling the symptons she had felt the last two times the infection flared up. So they rushed her to the hospital. They are searching for the infection by running various tests. But she is feeling a lot better and things are looking very hopeful. She should come home on Monday.

My brother that has been taking care of her is having a surgery on Tuesday and will be recovering for a few weeks. So I will probably be in Nebraska for a few weeks. It looks like staying until the end of May might be the best. That would put me back in the house of prayer right when the 40 day fast begins to prepare us for 7/7/7.

That's a quick update for now...

Trip to Jerusalem for Todd??

Friends and family,

I am sending this email out on short notice. A couple days ago a friend here at ihop asked me to go with him to Jerusalem in June. He was going with another friend who was not able to go, so at the last minute he has asked me. We will be attending and interceding at the One Thing Jerusalem (click on link and scroll down) on June 29th-July 1st. One Thing is a gathering of young people in different cities and regions of the world to worship, fast and pray based on Psalm 27:4. We both have a heart to see Jews come to know their Messiah Yeshua. Then we will go on a five day tour of Israel (click on link and scroll down).

The total cost of the trip will be around $2400 plus spending money. We will fly out of KC on June 26 th (my birthday) and fly into Nashville on July 6th to be at The Call Nashville on 7/7/7. This would be a dream come true and a great birthday gift from the Lord and some of you!

To be able to go I would need $1600 committed by Monday, May 7th and sent soon after. The remaining $800 for hotel, food, tour, etc. would need to be in within the next two weeks.

Prayers for my colleagues in Turkey

Hey all you intercessors out there let's give God no rest on this one. Let's fill some bowls of incense on this one. And not just for a few days. Would some of you committ with me to pray for the church in Turkey for the next few weeks, months and years? I personally will be praying first for strength for the current believers that are there. And secondly I will be praying for a house of prayer to be birthed there. Obviously there is much prayer already because of persecution and spiritual darkness, but there must be night and day prayer to see God's kingdom advanced, to see God's speedy justice released on the earth. And His speedy justice is that millions of muslim Turks would come to know Jesus! That is the justice that we are asking for from the blood of these 3 brothers in Christ!

Father in Heaven, right now we lift up the families of those who were brutally taken from this earth and removed from those who loved them, and all the fellow believers in Turkey; Strengthen their hearts with might by your Holy Spirit, comfort them as they mourn, and let hope abound even more for the coming of your Son and the advancement of your kingdom. Let these 3 grains of wheat produce a 100 fold harvest Father, and release laborers for the harvest at this time, in the name of Your Son Jesus, Amen!!

Chick-fil-A Update

Yet, another Chick-fil-A blog update (at least for those of you at ihop) But to all my peeps elswhere here's the scoop.

Camp outside of resturaunt for 24hrs (or more) and be among the first 100 people to do that. You cannot leave the parking lot at all.

Winner get's to hug Chick-fil-A mascot, "Benedict Arnold" the cow (wait is he a traitor to cows everywhere by promoting "eat chicken," or is he a Animal Farm secret service agent who has infiltrated the chickens and is actually protecting the "eating of cows" everywhere???)

Winner get's 52 free combo meal tickets (and according to Steve's math this is valued at $540)

As you can see from the above photo, I got a bonus hug from the cow and the 52 combo cards. I was #5 in line arriving at CFA at 3:30am and leaving at 7:30am 28hrs later. Yes it was worth it!!

Side Note #1:

We went for the chicken but we ended up with much more. There was rich fellowship with those we pray with everyday. We had some good intercession sets and devos (and naps, hey just like ihop). We started the day in prayer. Dedicating this new Christian owned business (Chick-fil-A is a Christian company that is not afraid to show what they believe in, for one they are closed on Sunday's) We played games together. Asphault football and soccer, limbo, hoola-hoop (Christian was crowned champion of the hoopers).

But best of all was the worship. We gathered in the corner of the parking lot and began to worship and intercede for the 60-70 people who were not ihoppers (yes there were about 30-40 ihopper representing, and all 30-40 were the first ones there). Then as the worship continued people went out spontaniously praying for others and sharing the love of Christ. It was glorious! This was all while 2 loud speakers were blasting out music from a dj that the resturaunt brought for the special occasion. And of course most of those songs were not very Pro-Christ.

After this we all went to bed at around midnight and then like clockwork, some other ihoppers began to worship. So as everybody was asleep in their tents, the nightwatchers lifted up the name of God's only Son Jesus Christ!

Father, thank for Jesus and thank you for free chicken!

Sidenote #2:

there is no other sidenote (unless I told you about our attempt to talk the mascot into letting Zach Wood tackle him, while I videotaped and would later put on Youtube and the local sports radio dj was willing to do play by play of the whole event and throw in some free Chiefs tickets if we pulled off the whole event. Benedict Arnold the Cow responding by trying to kick me in the youknowwhere twice, luckily I blocked both attempts. We took it as a No.)

You have to go read this great post about driving shuttles on Molly Mosack's blog. Since I serve the IHOP Transportation Dept. as Coordinator I am totally loving this post. But this is more than partiality, this is a great description of fun facts about Shuttle driving at the IHOP Missions Base.

Back from Orlando

I got back from my trip to O-town. I was privileged to speak to the Remnant youth group. This is no ordinary church youth group. But this is the army of God being formed right before are very eyes. They are hungry for Jesus and nothing else will satisfy.

I preached Friday night to a couple hundred young people. It was so awesome to see the Holy Spirit touch some of them in powerful ways. Saturday I got to hang out at the beach with some of the leaders. Saturday night was their prayer watch from 8-10pm. This was the highlight of the weekend. This was one of those intercession sets that Heaven just broke in on. I was weeping throughout the night. The Holy Spirit was just striking our hearts with love for Jesus and a painful cry for more love for Him, all the while feeling His love for us.

Sunday the Easter service was awesome. A homeless couple that the church has taken under it's wings these last few months got married. A heartbreaking story of two people who had some bad breaks in life and were left with nothing and no hope. They came to the church food pantry a few months ago. Since that time they have been serving in that ministry, even while still homeless. They not only got married that morning, displaying God's resurrection power over broken lives. But the church gave them a car, and a place to live, with no bills for the next 6 months. The ushers were handing out a lot of tissue in this service. The goal of the church is to do this for 4 homeless families this year and 50 families a year by 2012. The people are discipled and led through deliverance, counseling and financial planning, etc. THIS IS TRUE RELIGION.

Sunday night we stayed up late fellowshipping. Eating sushi made in "Omy-daHomie's Kitchen."
And we all watched Napoleon Dynomite together. It was great to laugh together and get to know all those young people in O-town. We also played the Holy Spirit games taught at Morningstar and Bethel.

Monday for brunch we went to a really cool vegan tea house, called InfusionOrlando.com. Totally organic teas and coffees and foods. And I got to ride in Edwin's (building up THE House) Scion. Sweet ride Edwin!!

And I wanna shout out to PG. Thanks for all the love and the opportunity to hang with all of you! But not just hang but to provoke each other to press on way harder than we ever have before, not in striving but into "Knowing the Love of Christ." PG we are gonna go Deep Sea Fishing on the boat Sea Spirit (that was the name of the boat on the brochure...seeing in the spirit).

I spent almost all of the last week in the mountains of the Southwest. We (our team) stayed above 8000ft. elevation about 95% of the trip. I will be posting outtakes of the trip in the coming days. We purposely stayed away from laptops and cellphones as much as we could and just focused on the beauty all around us. I will be posting links to some incredible photos also.

Today, Brownback's campaign circulated a memo making the case that he's a viable candidate for president. It cites the glowing report Brownback received from the Club for Growth and includes this quote from Grover Norquist of Americans for Tax Reform: "What Brownback has is complete credibility on the social conservative issues and complete credibility on the economic issues." The cabin we (Justin, LeeAnna & myself) will be staying in looks almost exactly like the one in the photo (I randomly found this photo on google images, but honestly folks, I really think this is the cabin we are staying in. I will get back to you on that)

It is a ranch in the Durango, Colorado area. Located at about 8000 ft. above sea level, with incredible hiking trails right out the back door. We will be sharing and ministering a home group on Wed. night and sharing at a local church on Sunday morning. And of course sharing Jesus with old friends and new ones.

Also we will be spending two days at the infamous Grand Canyon. Then the rest of the time in the breathtaking mountains of Southwestern Colorado. We will take a drive on the Million Dollar Highway. During all these activities we will be seeking the Lord in the beauty of His creation. The encounters you can have in nature are hard to beat. Because a lot of times it's just you and Him and His glorious creation speaking of His wonders and awe without saying a word. You can yell and let loose or sit there in total silence as all of creation praises Him with their beautiful sounds. My favorite pastime when I lived in the Durango area for almost two years was to go to a mountain river every Sunday after church and just meditate upon the Lord at the sight and sound of that rushing river. That makes you alive on the inside!

Join us in prayer as we are believing for the Word of God to be spoken boldly, for healings and for prophetic decrees to be released into the area!

Amen, let's stand!

Spirit of Truth

First off it is 7pm and I am outside the coffee shop with no jacket, Sweet!

In light of our tongues room de-brief and a conversation with a friend not long after I have to blog (sorry wordcasters). In the conversation I asked this friend what they taught in the class she is in. She said, "You know what, I can't remember, and the teacher said this would happen. He said in our culture we hear message after message but where does it go. That we don't really chew on the word enough to actually live out what was taught."

The conclusion we came to is that we have covetousness in our heart for revelation, but not much hunger to live in light of this revelation and not much satisfaction to have God alone as our inheritance.

Misty's set on Tuesday night shed some light on our true heart condition, but you left the room with hope that God can get us to the place that is impossible for our flesh attain to. A prophetic song came from one of the singers. He was singing, "I want you for my inheritance, and you alone, I don't want the mansion, I don't want the streets of gold, etc. I want you and you alone." It was an opportunity for people to say yes to being priests before God forever, their inheritance was the Lord (if we could only get it, for real, what that really means, look out when we do). The place we are (or I am) is that we really do want Him, but we want all the other stuff more. Like Revelation, power, rewards, joy, peace, living water flowing, supernatural encounters, etc. Oh that we would see that He is our exceedingly great reward (Gen. 15:1). This doesn't mean give up going for all the other stuff, but that all the other stuff is in Him. It should be the fruit produced from being intimate with Him. And there is fruit in many places of our lives. But I believe the Holy Spirit is convicting us and helping us to keep the first things first, as he always is, if we give time to listen. Because he longs for us to bear more fruit, in other words, he longs to be with us.

He will actually give us all the stuff without Him if we want it inordinately (which is covetousness). A friend of mind said recently that he wanted heaven, where there is no more pain, lots of gold, glory, etc. and he didn't care if God was there or not, ouch. That is the depth of blinding that can come, like the scales that fell off of Saul's eyes. Someone else thought this way too, and Jesus said that he saw him fall like lightning.

This resides in the human mind, which is desperately wicked and deceitful above all things. Let us continue to plow the fallow ground of our minds and hearts, and not go digging where the Holy Spirit is not leading us to dig, but let us have hope that He will give us hearts and minds that really do want Him and Him alone as our EXCEEDINGLY GREAT REWARD!

I'm back in the game

Well folks the surgery was a great success! (Cheers, rahs, hurrahs, the crowd goes wild!!) To get to the part I needed to replace I had to COMPLETELY disassemble the laptop. It was it like 20 pieces on my table.

Notice the red LIFE tape which is the duct tape of choice for anybody who has been in the Cause. Here is the part that was broken, the "dc jack." Notice the big chunk out of the one on the left:

Here is what it all came down to the "mother" of all computer parts. (that's the motherboard for all the non-techies.)

For anesthetic I used shots of compressed air and Ruth Fazal cd's, it did the trick. At first I had a few mouse problems, but that was a quick fix and everything is good to go. Not bad for never soldering anything before in my life. The pros would of charged about 300 bones for that job. Maybe I will buy some junkers on ebay and give them new life and get them into the hands of ihoppers who need laptops and just maybe the practise will come in handy in the end times. Nevertheless, Jack Bauer would be proud! (that one is for you Lee)

Computer problems

Ya ok I haven't posted in awhile. But this is not out of negligence or procrastination. I have a part coming for my laptop. I only have 30 minutes or so with each use, then go plug it in, and that takes one New Balance shoe, an 1828 Webster's Dictionary, a Matthew Henry Commentary (the complete and unabridged version, aka the big one) and a heavy full size journal. Plus it takes a little prayer too. If all goes right the little green and orange light come on and we are charging. If not, I adjust the shoe and laptop, while my roommate laughs at me.

So that means check my 4 email accounts, send quick replies, read a couple blogs, some news and look up some bible stuff I am studying and Time is up!

Next I will solder in a new dc outlet. I am not giving up on this old dog yet.

"Conference Time"

Just writing a quick update about the first day of the first conference of the year 2007. I am coordinating the final shuttle pick-ups of the day. As drivers we have served the transportation needs for the first day. It has been long day but a good day.

Get this, we were parking people at one of the many "abandoned strip malls" in SouthKC. It sure was good for business at the local Dollar General, which is the only business which actually looks open. I think 90% of ihoppers did not even know it existed.

We have contended for the spirit of prophecy, healings and for God to break in while we are driving and serving. And as one nightwatch driver (aka-the Obscure Poet) put it, to just smile and serve does touch hearts. Another saint (from Calcutta) who ministered daily to the poor and broken with a smile, but not just an appeasing "Welcome to Wal-Mart" smile, but a genuine Holy Spirit inspired smile. These are powerful and genuine, they are light and light pushes away darkness.

So thank you Father for another day to practice living the sermon on the mount lifestyle! We only have 70 yea 80 years to walk it out on this side of Heaven (which is coming down to a planet near you).

I got to hear a couple minutes of Bill Johnson speak, I sure love that guy. He is such a gift from Heaven to the Body of Christ. He always leaves your jaw hanging wide open. And how many times does he have to repeat revelatory nuggets to our carnal minds per service?

By the way did you all know that the actor Stephen Baldwin was attending tonight with Corey Russell? Someone put a Corey Russell CD(Days of Noah or Ancient Paths) in his hands and he was rocked and has wanted to come since. I saw him speaking to the punk rockers, skaters and other radical young people at the LifeLight Festival. He had a genuine conversion and he is hungry to see a generation get set ablaze for Christ and Christ alone. Let us remember him in our prayers this weekend. Just join me in three simple prayers:

1) That he would truly understand the need for an empowerment from the Holy Spirit.
2)That he would be a wise virgin and not a foolish one. In other words that he would stay intimate with Jesus and the he would truly know Him and be known by Him. (Because he is and will be offered many opportunities to "DO" great things "FOR" God.)
3)That the revelation of the need to put prayer first above all else for the purpose of fellowship with our Heavenly Father would strike his heart to the core.

Amen, Let's Stand!!!

Today I was invited to the first bar-b-que of 2007. Maybe the first IHOP bar-b-que of 2007. Of course Jack Stack hasn't stopped grilling for a moment, just drive by, and the 2nd best bar-b-que in America Arthur Bryant's is still going strong in their century old pit. And the number one bar-b-que in America is of course: North Main in Euless, TX.

Back to (did I actually leave the subject?) important things like meat and well, mainly just meat. Other things are good at bar-b-ques too, but lets face it, meat is what we go for.

If you dare have a bar-b-que or cookout of any sorts and do not have meat, your end-times scenario will play out immediately. So just be sure you adjust your timeline with your vegan cookout (two words never before joined together)!

Oh ya, back to the bar-b-que. I cannot give the location or else the place will be overrun with carnivores fresh off their fasts. But you will not believe the price of this outing. Get this Only $3 for all this:

My first night as transportation coordinator went well. Tamika and myself drove tonight. Robert Edwards is usually the go to guy on Friday nights, but he has been sick lately and then had some serious complications from the medicine they gave him.

Please keep Robert in your prayers. He is one awesome man of God and a great "papa" to our generation.

I had a God moment while driving. I was driving up to the base looking at he big IHOP sign and it hit me AGAIN...that I am here in Kansas City and I get to be a part of this. I Get To! And to drive the shuttle or serve in any way the Lord leads us is a real privilege. It was that "I'd rather be a gatekeeper..." scripture coming alive again. Just to be a shuttle driver or usher or to vacuum the carpet in the pr, just one day serving here is better than all of the days we dwelt in darkness.

Where could we be? What would be doing right now, if not for His Goodness? He has allowed us to be a part of His End-Times plans!

And by the way listen to Prophetic History CD #5. Oh, you have, do it again. You'll be glad.

The Goshens are calling

It's official I will be serving in the transportation dept. here at ihop. It is right up my alley as I drove vans and goshens in DC and throughout the east coast.

I actually prayed a couple weeks ago, "God I would love to work somewhere at ihop that I halfway enjoy," and I specifically mentioned driving." I will be joining the ihop prayer room as a full-time staff member on Feb. 1-3rd.

I am excited to being joining this House of Prayer and to be able to stand on the wall to pray. It is truly getting to do what I believe I was made for.

Yippee, the joy of getting to do this and Whoa, the soberness of what this means also.

Hey friends, CBN just did a great story on ihop and the world-wide prayer movement. More reason for us here to have the fear of the Lord for sure!

Final 2006 miracle

Back on the blog after the One Thing Conference and 3 days of the Bridegroom Fast. I want to begin by giving a praise report...
The week before the One Thing Conference my truck was towed and I had until Dec. 28th to come up with $504.08 to keep it from being repossessed. I sent out a late email on the 26th.

Within hours the money came in!

Thank You Jesus and Thank You to all of you who prayed, those who gave and those who were willing to give to make sure it was taken care of.

But the story is not finished yet. Someone has blessed me by agreeing to pick up the remaining payments on my truck! I had been praying and believing for this for the last two years. As I have been able to use my truck serving the CauseUSA, families and friends around ihop and it has been a great work horse when I do flooring jobs or chop wood for people.
So it went from the darkest hour to Total Victory! I have been standing on Psalm 27:13 during the weeks leading up to the Bank coming to get the truck.

"I would of lost heart unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living."

So thanks again to all who stood with me on this and believe in me and in the prayer movement!

P.S.-Also an important lesson I learned: Don't wait so long to ask for help!

Where are you staying for Christmas?

As I was looking at pictures of the snow storm in Denver I was becoming really thankful for not having to travel very far for the holidays. We just drove 6 and half hours during the night to arrive in North Platte, Nebraska from Kansas City at 6am. The trip was pretty smooth until the very end.
In the Christmas spirit our driver donated a few gallons of gasoline to a Grand Island, NE gas station and near the end of the drive this same driver began to turn into his 2 year old son, the red bull had wore off.

So this Christmas unlike thousands of other Americans we will be staying in nice beds or at worst couches with our families. I am sure there are millions around the globe who would take a chair or cot in a nice climate controlled airport over their current holiday sleeping spot.

Have you been on my blog and asked yourself at least two questions? One, "Will Todd's blog survive?", and the other question, "What are jujubees?"

On the first question, no one really knows the answer to that question. But I have some info for you on the second question...

Jujubes (popular pronunciation is: joo joo bees), these little chewy delights are dear friends of mine. Those who love them as much as me (heather in Orlando) know the truth, these little pellets have super powers. I could prove it but I choose not to at this time, but yes jujubes release super powers, especially the purple ones. Until we are in our resurrected bodies and get the revelation that we need to walk in what is already ours, these help. I haven't been able to walk through walls yet, but I am getting closer. So whenever you see bruises or bumps on my forehead don't worry about it too much.

Jujubes, the world's first super-powered food! Even those who are opposed to this knowledge and say that they don't like them end up eating them by the box. You all know it's true and you know who you are!

Thanks for the provocation Kari...I am now just filling space because of it. I am sitting in the prayer room on a freezing night in Kansas City, Missouri. I could be a lot of other places. I could of been raised in Pakistan and trained to use an AK-47 at age 5 and taught to hate Westerners and Jews.

Yet God in His grace has allowed me to be here. May the awe of it and the soberness of the responsibility both continue to grow at a rapid (greenhouse effect) rate. What would that boy do with the opportunity I have?
